Rouen 1567 Playing Cards

Rouen 1567 — A Historic Deck Reborn

A faithful tribute to the origins of modern playing cards.

The Rouen 1567 deck is a meticulously crafted recreation of one of the earliest known European decks — featuring full-body, one-way court cards that would go on to inspire the standard faces we recognize today.
Printed by the United States Playing Card Company on premium Bicycle® stock, this deck brings 16th-century craftsmanship into the hands of today’s collectors and enthusiasts.

Features include:

• A premium tuck case with embossed detailing

• Authentic reconstructions of rare 1567 court cards, adapted with subtle indices for modern usability

• A tastefully minimal back design, inspired by historical references, as original Rouen decks had plain backs

• Poker size. Standard 56-card deck with 2 Jokers, Ad card, and Double Backer.

Perfect for historians, collectors, and players who value legacy — this is more than a deck, it’s a piece of playing card history.
