Wishers Playing Cards
Elevate your game with the classic Wishers series, featuring larger clearer values, elegant backs and timeless court cards.
Two Guardians stare into the wishing well, good fortune awaits. Available in three editions, printed by the USPCC on premium Bicycle and Bee stock.
56 card deck. Includes 2 Jokers (individual colours), Ad card, and Double Backer. Poker size. Standard pips.
A 500-year restoration
The court cards in every standard deck are copies of copies of copies — 15th-century portraits redrawn so many times that the detail wore away. Patterns were misrepresented. Faces lost their elegance. Minute but ongoing errors over centuries.
Wishers draws on details from their origins: the robes patterned again, the faces alive again, the indices enlarged and the suits refined for the modern game.
